Studio News:
A few words about our Studios...They are very Green and have a low Carbon footprint, plus they are run as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization.
During the two year construction process most of the 2x4's and all of the insulation was harvested from two demolitions and recycled. Low VOC paint and stain was used.
The rooms are floating rooms with an NC rating of about 10-15. The reverb time in the tracking room is constant from 31 Hz to 16 KHz. The hot water is Solar. Most of the electricity for the Mix room is from Solar and Wind power with banks of batteries for backup, yet there is plenty of Air Conditioning and amenities to be comfortable.
Of course wireless and wired broadband is available.
We love old guitars, basses, amps etc. Ampeg B15-N, 1948 TV face Fender Deluxe, 1960's Ampeg Gemini with a D-130, Vox AC30 TB, 1964 Blackface Fender Bassman AA764 (one of 200 made), Mesa Boogie DC-5, 1974 Fender Jazz Bass, 1977 Rickenbacker 4003 bass, 1967 Fender Precision Fretless bass, 1959 Gibson ES-345 (bought it new), 1961 Gibson Les Paul (the one that looks like an SG), 1970 Fender Strat (solid maple / maple neck / no tremolo), Ibanez JEM.
